After 26 years, I think he’s gay

I don’t know whether my imagination is going crazy, but I think my husband of 26 years could be gay. Our kids are at college, and I can’t help thinking he now reckons this is his time.

I am over-suspicious but there are all sorts of signs. He has strange phone calls and texts, and he seems happier when he’s on Facebook.

You can’t know unless you ask him. Many people wait until their children are grown before dealing with their sexuality and dreams. But he owes you the courtesy of telling you where you stand. So ask him. If your fears are true, try to understand. At least you will know and can strive to find a way forward. On your terms.
