Illusionist Blaine in sex assault probe No2

- BY JANINE YAQOOB

David Blaine SUPERSTAR illusionist David Blaine faces a fresh police probe after a second British woman claimed he sexually assaulted her.

The former model told Scotland Yard officers he attacked her in New York in 1997 when she was aged 19, we can reveal.

She contacted police six days ago after talking to ex-chanel model Natasha Prince, 35, who last month alleged Blaine raped her in 2004 at a party at his friend’s flat in London. She believes her drink was spiked.

A year earlier Blaine had achieved fame by spending 44 days without food inside a glass box suspended over the River Thames.

The magician, 44, has made an estimated €17million from his mind-bending stunts. Scotland Yard last night confirmed they were investigating the new allegations adding: “Specialist officers are supporting the victim.”

Natasha – so traumatised that she gave up modelling – said: “After I told my story, a British ex-model got in contact. I got really emotional and started crying.”

She added: “The last time I spoke to the police they said they had been in touch with Blaine’s attorney and asked him to fly to the UK for an interview under caution.”

Blaine – who lives in New York – split with Alizée Guinochet, the mother of his daughter, in 2014.

His lawyer Marty Singer has said he “vehemently denies” the claims, adding: “If there is any police investigation he will fully co-operate because he has nothing to hide.”
