Nick’s ex Jessica with her martial arts instructor dad Marc Moor Nick and Jessica Jessica Moor has now cut off all contact with estranged husband Nick Knowles as she prepares to “take him to the cleaners”, pals claim.

The DIY SOS star, who has a son with Jessica and three children from his first marriage, “offered an olive branch” and wanted to meet her earlier this weekend. But she refused and the former couple are now only communicating through lawyers.

A source close to Nick said: “He is devastated as all lines of communication have broken down and the only contact is now between solicitors. He was hoping to meet Jess this weekend but that went out the window in the middle of last week.”

Sources close to the pair have revealed how Jessica met Nick’s new girlfriend Rebecca Kearns, 25, last month.

They said it was only after the meeting that Jessica made her online claims that she had suffered “cruelty and physical abuse”. Nick has vehemently denied the claims.

She later deleted the tweets and Nick had hoped that tensions would ease.

Jessica Rose Moor, 30, last week posted a blistering Twitter attack on her estranged husband Nick, accusing him of “years of intimidation, emotional cruelty and physical abuse”.

She later deleted the claims, which Nick vehemently denies.

But yesterday Jessica’s dad, martial arts instructor Marc Moor, said: “She is a strong, dynamic woman who woke up one day and decided she wasn’t going to take it any more.

“There comes a point where you have to stand up for yourself.”

Jessica and Nick, 55 – who is listed by the BBC as earning between €340,000 and €400,000 a year – split in 2016 after four years’ marriage and have a threeyear-old son.

Marc, 60, said the former couple are now communicating through their lawyers.

Jessica declined to comment when approached by the Sunday Mirror at her townhouse in Gloucestershire.

responding publicly to his ex’s claims in an attempt to minimise the negative impact on their son.

Dad Marc, who runs martial arts school Budo Warriors in Gloucester and has instructed members of the Royal Protection Squad, said: “It’s a difficult situation. They are in correspondence through solicitors.”

Nick was said to be “devastated” by Jessica’s online claims and flew home from a holiday in Los Angeles this week to deal with the situation.

He had been on a sunshine break with his new flame, 25-year-old marketing executive Rebecca Kearns.

Since he and Jessica split in 2016, Nick has been linked to five other women including former Towie star Pascal Craymer.

Nick was also worried that the BBC might axe his show DIY SOS.

A source close to the star said: “Nick has been worried about the future of the show and has already started lining up new projects.

“He would like to work more in the US and produce more movies.

“He is already working on one film project.”

But the BBC said last night it had no plans to end the show.
