Pain monster back as Gaga scraps gigs

-

My heart goes out to Lady Gaga, who had to cancel the final leg of her tour yesterday because she is “suffering from severe pain”.

The Grammy Awardwinning singer has fibromyalgia, a long-term condition which can cause agony all over the body.

Shows in London and Manchester are among those affected. Gaga, 31, told her fans: “I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it. All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music.”

The European leg of her Joanne World Tour had already been rescheduled due to her condition.

That followed a decision to pull out of a gig at Rock in Rio in September, after she was hospitalised with “severe physical pain”.

Gaga was due to perform in Zurich, Cologne, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin in the coming weeks. I hope she feels better soon.

I caught up with hip-hop star Faith Evans at music body BMI’S How I Wrote That Song event. She tells me: “I didn’t come into this business knowing I was going to be an artist, I was just a singer.” She says that she felt empowered before the #metoo campaign, which is fighting for gender equality. She says: “I’m very comfortable in my skin.” Ryan Gosling is already sick of playing the first man on the Moon Neil Armstrong. The 37-year-old star has been throwing up after having to use flight Golden girl Selena out on the town Hippy by day, glamour queen by night. Either way, Selena Gomez can rock an outfit. From feeding ducks in a park in Wrangler overalls to wowing fans on a night out in LA, she’s got it. She’s even got Justin Bieber back too. Ah well, can’t win ’em all. PICTURES:BACKGRID/SPLASHNEWS
