Man killed in road collision

A MAN has died after an early morning road traffic collision.

It happened on Friday on the N3 at Bunn in Belturbet, Co Cavan, at around 6.20am.

The man in his late 40s was killed when the car he was driving collided with an articulated truck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The truck driver was not injured, while the road was closed yesterday for further investigation.
