RUSSIAN SPY ATTACK: PREVIOUS

YULIA Skripal looks happy and carefree on a beach holiday.

In other snaps, she poses for jokey selfies at home.

The cheerful images, posted on Russian social media, are a world away from the hell she and her dad are experiencing as they fight for life a week after a nerve agent attack.

A friend told the Sunday Mirror: “Yulia is usually so happy and full of life – so lovely, smiley and bright.

“She’s a normal girl who wouldn’t hurt anyone. She doesn’t deserve to have been targeted like this.

“I still can’t believe what has happened. It feels like being in a horror movie.”

The pal, who works for Pepsico in Moscow, said: “She loves England and its culture and has always felt completely safe there.

“She speaks fluent English and considers it her home away from home. It’s unbelievable to me this has happened to her there.”

Yulia, 33, had been visiting her father from her home in Moscow when they were poisoned.

The friend added: “Everyone is praying that Yulia and her dad can somehow get through this together.

“They’ve both lost so much already with her mom and brother dying.

“I really don’t know what Yulia would do if she loses him too.”
