Katie’s acid attack man may get out
Piper AN acid attacker who scarred Katie Piper for life may be freed on parole next month.
Stefan Sylvestre was filmed on CCTV throwing sulphuric acid into the British former beauty queen’s face on orders of her obsessed ex-boyfriend.
Sylvestre and her ex Daniel Lynch were jailed for life in 2009. Married mum-of-two Katie, 33, has written of her fears that Sylvestre might come after her if he is freed.
The attack left her blinded in one eye and needing 40 operations to repair her face. She wrote: “I’m the one with the life sentence. Not him.”
