Katie goes on lung run for dying mum
KATIE Price plans to run the London Marathon – dressed as a lung.
The Loose Women star will be raising money for a charity which has supported her mother who has terminal idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
Katie, 39, was left devastated by the lung disease diagnosis last year which gave Amy, 64 – who has been her rock – just years to live.
Now the model will be taking on the 26-mile challenge on April 22 to boost funds for the British Lung Foundation.
A source said: “Katie has told friends she wants to dress up as a lung for her marathon run.
“It’s a typical Katie thing to do, as she wants to raise as much awareness as possible.”
