Pro Green in blast at May on homeless
PROFESSOR Green “can’t stand” Theresa May – and says she must get a grip on the homelessness problem.
The rapper and filmmaker, 34, slammed Tory ministers for not turning up to a screening of his documentary on poverty in the UK parliament.
He said: “There wasn’t a single member of the government. I felt like walking out because the people who needed to see that film didn’t turn up.”
And he said of the PM: “I can’t stand that woman.”
Green, real name Stephen Manderson, hit out during a visit to the 999 Club shelter for the homeless in Deptford, South East London.
“We need to solve the problem of homelessness, it’s getting worse and funding is scarce,” he said.
