Teddy in Strictly ‘No’ over wife curse fear
Teddy with wife Kristina Filming with Keith then back to hotel ENGLAND football legend Teddy Sheringham has given Strictly Come Dancing the red card over his wife’s fears it could split them up.
Teddy, 51, whose wife Kristina Andriotis is expecting their second child, has dated a string of beauties down the years.
And Kristina, 32, is adamant that he won’t foxtrot off with a dancer – as has happened to a string of stars hit by the so-called “Strictly curse” on relationships.
Ex-spurs and Man Utd ace Teddy said at the National Film Awards: “I have been asked to do Strictly but said no.
“I’ve always said no. I won’t be doing that.”
And Kristina chipped in: “I Christine cries when left at home won’t let him do it, I don’t like that curse.”
Teddy split from long-term girlfriend Denise Sims, mother of his son Charlie, 30, in 1992.
He has also dated Katie Price, 39, and former Miss Great Britain and Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd, 34.
Teddy and Kristina wed in 2016. Even though she hates football their home in Essex is called Camp Nou – after Barcelona’s stadium, where Teddy scored the winner in United’s 1999 Champions League Final win over Bayern Munich.
And in a comical nod to their age gap, they reportedly once stuck a sign on their house saying: “An old rooster and a young chick live here.”
Teddy won 51 England caps and is now a TV pundit.
