PROUD MUM KATE SHARES SNAPS OF LOUIS GETTING CUDDLES
CUDDLING him gently on her tiny lap, little Princess Charlotte gives her baby brother Louis a tender peck to celebrate her third birthday.
The intimate snap, in which Charlotte clasps the nineday-old prince protectively in one arm as she kisses his head, was taken by proud mum Kate, 36.
The Duchess of Cambridge, a keen photographer, also shared her photo of Louis at three days old, dressed all in white and propped on a cushion.
Taken at the family’s Kensington Palace home, it shows the newest addition to the Royal Family wide-eyed and ruddy-cheeked.
Shy big brother Prince George, four, does not feature in the family snaps released by the Palace.
Kate broke with tradition in 2015 when she took the first official photos of Charlotte. She has also released personal pictures to mark other milestones in her children’s lives.
And her skills clicked with Mirror snapper Ian Vogler, who praised the use of natural light. He said: “It’s a really charming image of a big sister proud of her new sibling.
“It’s always hard to get a nice picture of very young children, but the Duchess has done a really good job.
“The picture of Louis on his own is more formal but very good – getting such a young baby to keep his eyes open is an achievement.”
Kensington Palace said William, 35, and Kate were “very pleased” to share the photos. They said: “Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the public for all their kind messages.”
