Sicko O’hora joins killers and abusers
A CHILD porn pervert who stalked RTE presenter Sharon Ni Bheolain has been moved to the same prison as sadistic killer Graham Dwyer.
Conor O’hora, 41, of Heather Walk, Portmarnock, Co Dublin, was sentenced to three years in jail on Thursday on four charges, including harassing the newsreader.
He was transferred to Midlands Prison, Co Laois, to serve out his sentence alongside Dwyer, 45, and sex predator Tom Humphries.
O’hora will likely spend the duration of his term at the jail.
A source said: “Some of the sickest perverts and murderers are at Midlands Prison so he will be in good company.
“To say it will take a while to adjust to prison would be an understatement.
“Dwyer and Humphries are just some of the twisted inmates he will be housed alongside.
“After a while he will be allowed to apply for a job if he wants and courses to fill his days.” O’hora pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to harassing Ms Ni Bheolain between March 27, 2013, and January 7, 2014. He further admitted three counts of knowingly possessing child pornography on a mobile phone and on a computer hard drive on February 18, 2014. The court heard O’hora posted more than 30 modified photos of Ms Ni Bheolain on a website. As well as the doctored images, he engaged in 40 sexually explicit and violent online conversations with a co-accused. Some of those related to Ms Ni Bheolain, while others were about three identified children. Det Gda Padriag Hanley previously told the court O’hora’s discussions were “extremely sexually explicit and violent”. O’hora told gardai: “It’s not something I’m proud of, it’s a fantasy thing. “It’s ridiculous to think she would have any interest in me.” Passing sentence, Judge Martin Nolan condemned his “insidious form of harassment” and “debasing behaviour” and handed down a four-and-a-half-year term with the final 18 months suspended. news@irishmirror.ie
