MOVING letters exchanged by the stranded Wild Boars and their families were released yesterday.

The group’s hopes of being safely rescued shone through in the notes in which they repeatedly told loved ones not to worry – and even joked about getting too much homework.

Sompong Jaiwong, 13, who has been pictured wearing an England shirt inside the cave, wrote: “I love Dad and Mum. Don’t worry about me I’m safe.”

Peerapat “Night” Sompiangja­i, 16, wrote: “Night loves Mum, Dad and older sister. Don’t worry.”

Duangpetch Promthep, 13, said: “I’m fine. But the weather is a bit too cold. Don’t forget to do my birthday party.”

Mongkol Boonpiam, 14, wrote: “Mum how are you? I’m fine. Can you tell my teacher.”
