FA hit the bullseye

THE dartboard used by England stars to play members of the press pack at the media centre close to their base in Repino is to be auctioned for charity after the World Cup.

Three Lions players have been taking turns to do media duties at the Cronwell Park Hotel, near their training base.

And when they arrive, one of them is chosen to have a three-dart challenge with a member of the media, with the highest score winning.

But it’s a one-sided match so far. Currently, England lead 9-2, with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, John Stones, Jordan Pickford and Jordan Henderson all victorious.

The idea is seen as a big success by the FA – and they plan to auction the dartboard once the tournament is over.
