First Night of the Proms Radio 3, Friday, 8-10.45pm The annual classical celebration kicks off with an all-british line-up of composers, live from the Royal Albert Hall. The BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, National Youth Choir and Proms Youth Ensemble will perform Holst, Vaughan Williams and a new work by Anna Meredith.
