Bruce Lee’s movie guru dies aged 91

FILM producer Raymond Chow, who discovered martial arts legend Bruce Lee, has died aged 91.

Their first film together, 1971’s The Big Boss, set box office records.

It was followed by Fist of Fury and The Way of the Dragon in 1972.

Chow also had success in the 1980s with another Kung Fu star, Jackie Chan.

The “Godfather” of Hong Kong film, Chow produced more than 600 movies.

Bruce Lee’s daughter Shannon tweeted: “Thank you Raymond for taking a chance on a young Bruce Lee and helping him to realise his dream.”

He also made Hollywood films like 1990’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Lee died of a brain oedema in Hong Kong in 1973, aged 32.
