I own a red, banana-shaped Ericsson telephone handset with the dial on the underside. It’s from the 1950s or ’60s I think. What is it worth? Sam Rogers, Oxford This phone – the first all-in-one handset – is one of the great plastic designs and a cult collectable. Fans of 1960s show The Prisoner will certainly recognise it. Yet while it looks like a ’60s piece it was actually created by the Swedish firm in the 1940s and went on sale in the mid-50s in a range of colours. Later models are worth the most – around €150 to €250.
