focus on him.” But the Rovers boss added: “We’re just disappointed that we dropped two points.

“I thought we could have scored again because they were trying to hang on, but it wasn’t to be.”

Millers chief Paul Warne admitted: “Blackburn deserved an equaliser but it hurts. I’m not being a baby about it, but their goal was offside. Even so, I see it as a point gained.

“It’s a difficult place to come, and for the first 20 minutes of the second half, we just couldn’t get out.

“But my lads never gave up, and we scored. It was a great cross and a fully deserved goal.”

For so long in the second half, it looked like Blackburn would notch up another home win, only to come up against in-form Rodak.

The 21-year-old Slovakian, on loan from Fulham, had earned his spurs by keeping out a string of efforts with saves and blocks with his feet.

Rovers, who haven’t lost to Rotherham at home in nine matches now, had piled on the pressure after being held by the plucky Millers. They themselves have now gone five games unbeaten, with just one defeat in eight.

Only Rodak kept them in it, keeping out an effort by Danny Graham, then an Elliott Bennett blockbuster.

Then Dack sent out a warning, with a twist and turn movement, before his low shot was blocked by that man Rodak.

In the end, the keeper could do nothing to keep out Dack’s late leveller – and each side took a point.
