Prue, 78, says of retired fashion designer John Playfair, 71: “My husband is such a grown-up, confident fellow. He doesn’t mind carrying my handbag. He doesn’t mind being my chauffeur.
“He is a lovely guy – he is very relaxed. He has been very successful and he is retired now and he doesn’t mind. He thinks it’s quite fun. He is the one who says to me, ‘You can’t wear that, it’s not on-brand’.”

Squaring up to a world champion heavyweight boxer is probably not the best idea. But rapper Big Narstie, real name Tyrone Lindo, 33, didn’t seemed fazed by the idea when he met Frank Bruno, 57.
The pair were answering calls on Zopa’s The Feelgood Hotline on Wednesday when Big Narstie challenged Frank to a karate fight.
A source tells me: “They were both getting on really well, and then Big said he wanted to try out his karate skills on Frank.
“In the end they just (awkwardly) laughed it off and moved on.”
