Gardai probe after shots fired at house

GARDAI are investigating an incident in which a house was blasted with gunshots.

The attack took place at a property in Belclare View, Ballymun, North Dublin, in the early hours of yesterday.

No one was injured, but the front of the house was damaged.

Local TD Noel Rock condemned the shooting as an “all too regular occurrence” in the area.

He said: “I have written again today to the local superintendent, the Justice Minister and the Garda Commissioner requesting the urgent deployment of resources to this area.

“People have been growing increasingly concerned. We need to get a grip on this now.”
