Model Gisele opens up on Dicaprio split

SUPERMODEL Gisele has revealed why her five-year relationship with actor Leonardo Dicaprio ended.

The Brazilian catwalk queen admits the two parted ways when she realised they were no longer right for each other.

The couple split in 2005 when Gisele was no longer “numbing” herself “with smoking, drinking and too much work”.

She told Porter magazine: “I was becoming more and more aware of things I’d chosen not to look at.

“Was I alone in wanting to do soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”

She met husband Tom Brady in 2006, with whom she has three children.
