Penny: Show brought back my abuse hell

Lancaster TV star Penny Lancaster’s new reality show triggered terrible memories of childhood sex abuse.

The ex-model, who was attacked twice when she was 12 and 17, broke down in tears during filming for Famous and Fighting Crime, which sees celebritie­s train as police officers.

Penny, 47, wife of rock star Rod Stewart, 74, said: “They were testing to see how I’d react to being abused. One guy was in front yelling in my face.

“I suddenly felt like I was this victim and this man was trying to control me. It all came flooding back.”

Despite her experience on the Channel 4 show, which starts next Monday February 11, brave Penny wants to be a special PC. She said: “I didn’t want to take the uniform off.” Killer Levi
