Bohs game is axed late
EAST FIFE have apologised to “hundreds” of fans who travelled to Dublin only for their Irn-bru Cup quarter-final tie against Bohemians to be postponed seven minutes before kick-off.
The game fell foul to a frozen pitch at Dalymount Park and no new date or venue has been announced for the rearranged tie.
An East Fife statement read: “The referee inspected the pitch at 1.30pm and was not satisfied that it was in a safe condition at that time but was willing to give the game a chance by delaying a decision to nearer kick-off.”
