North eye on crown
GEORGE NORTH claims Wales’ fighting spirit in Paris shows they have the mental powers to be crowned Six Nations kings.
The wing’s brace of tries inspired a stunning comeback to give the Red Dragons a crucial 24-19 opening victory, having trailed 16-0 at half-time.
North said: “This tournament is wide open so beating France on their home soil is a decent statement of intent.
“To have any real chance of winning the title you can’t afford any slip ups.
“You have to win the first game to build the momentum.”
