DANIEL STENDEL felt Barnsley could have scored more as they stretched their unbeaten League One run to 10 games. Alex Mowatt and Cameron Mcgeehan secured victory.

Stendel said: “I think we could have scored more than the two goals, but we can save the goals for the next match.”

Stuart Mccall admitted Scunthorpe were beaten by “a good, good side”, but felt they should have had penalty for a foul on Adam Hammill shortly before Barnsley opened the scoring.
