Gardai renew appeal over man’s killing

- BY JOHN PATRICK KIERANS

GARDAI hunting the killers of a man in Co Donegal seven years ago have pleaded for the public’s help in solving the case.

Andrew Allen, 24, was gunned down in front of his partner at his home at Links View Park in Buncrana on February 9.

Investigators say a number of people have been arrested and questioned over the years in relation to the murder which remains unsolved.

Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to “do the right thing” and come forward.

Yesterday a spokesman said: “On February 9, 2012, Andrew Allen was murdered in his home at 26 Links View Park, Buncrana, Co Donegal, in front of his partner.

“Those responsible travelled to Buncrana from Derry city that evening.”
