How much Anthony weighed when he was at his heaviest

wife Keira that Anthony decided he had to get his life together before it was too late.

He added: “I realised there was a chance I could get a heart attack. I was the heaviest I had ever been. Keira helped me see that I needed to take drastic action.”

Fearful of dying in his 20s, Anthony finally decided to join the Educogym in Glanmire. Walking in with his head down and having no idea how to use any of the equipment, he knew the consequences could be detrimental if he didn’t give it a try.

Within 12 days he had lost two stone and knew he was on the right path.

Anthony said: “From the moment I stepped into Educogym, I got such a positive vibe.

“I knew it was the place for me. I can’t believe I let my weight get so out of hand. When I look back at old pictures I am disgusted I let myself get to the size I was.”

The 30-year-old smashed his weight loss target and has also lost an additional two stone. He said being able to buy size medium clothes is something he could never have imagined.

Anthony added: “It’s hard to think I was an XXXL and now I am buying clothes four times smaller. I am making up for missing out on discos and holidays when I was overweight.

“I now take every opportunity to travel the world with my wife and I don’t worry about people pointing at me on the beach. No one should ever have to feel like I did. People just need to pick up the phone and make that call.

“Don’t be ashamed like I was. My weight loss journey isn’t over yet.”
