RAVENS GET HIP TO LAMAR’S BAND OF BROTHERS

- BY KEITH WEBSTER

LAMAR JACKSON believes the Baltimore “brotherhood” can help drive the Ravens to Super Bowl glory on February 2.

Having started the season with two wins and two defeats, the Ravens have won the last five and are on course for the playoffs.

During that run, they demolished the previously unbeaten New England Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champions, racing into a 17-0 lead before winning 37-20.

And having seen off Tom Brady and his highlyfancied Patriots two weeks ago, Jackson (right) reckons there is a bond forming behind the scenes with these Ravens.

The 22-year-old quarterback said: “You can see it on the field. It’s like a brotherhood here. We all love each other. It’s fun to be with those guys. There is always entertainment in our locker room. “Each and every day there is always someone new just doing something crazy, making everybody laugh. “I think it’s part of the game that helps you transition to the field.” Tonight, the Ravens host the Houston Texans (Sky Sports Action, 6pm) after thrashing

Cincinnati last week, with Jackson throwing three touchdown passes and running for a fourth.

They follow tonight’s game with two huge tests against the LA Rams and San Francisco, both Super Bowl contenders.

But Jackson has a pre-game secret weapon in the locker room to put him in the mood: music.

He said: “I listen to a lot of hip hop, a lot of rap. It cranks me up, then I go out there and perform.”
