MANCHESTER CITY are primed and ready to go in their bid to overturn their two-year Champions League ban.

The process has been delayed by the coronavirus crisis, but Sunday Mirror Sport understands that City’s lawyers are in a position where they can put their case forward with minimal notice.
A senior City source said: “Our appeal has been fully prepared and the only thing we are waiting for is for a date.

CAS has still been sitting during the lockdown, with appeals heard via a video link.

Gaal holds Boss Van aloft, but the FA Cup (right) wife Truus would warned he be axed the ban to be frozen for next season if their case is not heard in time to meet UEFA deadlines on qualification.
But Kevin De Bruyne’s admission last week that he may consider his future on the back of a two-year suspension being upheld may force Etihad bosses down that route.
City have assured Pep Guardiola that they are innocent of the charges made.
