24-hr service at hair salon

A HAIR salon is planning to open for 24 hours from midnight tonight.

Salon Rouge in Inchicore, South Dublin, will remain open to ensure it can cater for the “overwhelming demand” for colouring, styling and home-do corrections.

The business is marking the ease of restrictions to welcome back its loyal customers after 12 weeks of lockdown.

Owner Tish Curry hopes the 24-hour service will go towards alleviating the four-week waiting list as demand for appointments soars.

She said: “We have many loyal customers many who have cocooned for weeks now and we want to ensure that we can take care of them safely and efficiently as restrictions ease.”
