Deaths spark fury at cops

CAMPAIGNER­S in India are demanding action on police brutality following the deaths of two men held over lockdown rules.

P Jeyaraj, 58, and his son Fenix, 38, were arrested because of claims they kept their mobile phone shop open beyond curfew.

They were held in cells overnight and died two days later. Relatives have claimed they had injuries caused by torture.
