Tev only has eyes for Irons
CARLOS TEVEZ is open to a Premier League return – but only to rejoin West Ham.
The Argentine striker was due to be out of contract with Boca Juniors this week but has signed a new six-month extension.
But Tevez – who has also played for Manchester United and Manchester City in the top flight – refused to rule out a return to England before he hangs up his boots.
Tevez, 36, is regarded an Irons hero after joining from Corinthians in a controversial deal in 2006, scoring the goals to keep the Londoners in the Premier League.
He said: “If I had to go back to Europe I would go to West Ham for six months to be applauded.
“I won’t rule anything out because I don’t want to be a slave to my words.”
