Hodgson’s eyeing Ibe
CRYSTAL PALACE boss Roy Hodgson will rival Celtic chief Neil Lennon for the signing of free agent Jordon Ibe this summer.
Ibe, who cost Bournemouth £15million in 2016, has not played a Premier League game this season and boss Eddie Howe confirmed he will leave the club this summer after his contract expires.
That has opened the door for Hodgson, who is an admirer of the 24-year-old – who joined the Cherries from Liverpool.
Bournemouth’s capture of former youth international Ibe was considered a real coup, but the player hasn’t managed to live up to expectations on the south coast.
