Brian & Amy welcome baby Ted to their growing family
BRIAN O’driscoll and his wife Amy Huberman ended 2020 on a high after welcoming their third child.
The Ireland rugby legend took to social media yesterday to share the news as the couple welcomed Ted O’driscoll home.
The ex-leinster ace confirmed that both mother and the baby boy are doing well after he was born on December 28.
Sharing a picture of himself with the baby carrier on Instagram, Brian said: “2020 was a bit crap but the end of it was aiiiiight!
“Ted O’driscoll arrived on Dec 28th and he is deadly. His mum is a champion and his brother and sister are thrilled at having a new little bro.”
O’driscoll and actress Huberman are already parents to two children – seven-yearold Sadie and five-year-old Billy.
Huberman announced there would be a new addition to the family in September.
Taking to Instagram at the time, the Finding Joy star said: “There’s a bun in the oven.”
Posting about her new tot on Instagram, Amy added: “Thank you so much for all your lovely messages for Ted.
“He’d say thanks himself but he’s 6 days old and a bit lazy that way.
“Thank you also to the incredible doctors, nurses & team @nationalmaternityhospital for being total heroes during such a challenging time for anyone working in healthcare right now. Deeply grateful and indebted.”
Ted’s arrival was welcomed by the worlds of rugby and showbiz.
Munster player and former Ireland teammate Peter O’mahony said: “Great news! Congrats.”
Another former teammate Gordon D’arcy said: “Congrats to you both.” Laura Whitmore said: “Congrats guys.” Sile Seoige said: “Huge congrats and welcome to the world Ted!”
