The inaugural voyage on P&O’S new ship Arvia to the Canary Islands on December 9, 2022 is now open for registrati­on.

Fares for the 14-night round trip from Southampto­n start at £1,449 per person and she will call at Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria,

Lanzarote, Cadiz and Lisbon. The 5,200-passenger, 184,700 gross tonnage Arvia will then sail a Canaries Christmas and New Year cruise from Southampto­n before reposition­ing to the Caribbean to homeport in Barbados for the winter season. From there she will make P&O’S debut at La Romana in the Dominican Republic.

Also new for the line in winter 2022/23 are Canaries fly-cruises from Tenerife, with Azura offering two alternatin­g seven-night voyages which can be combined to create a 14-night sailing starting at £829 per person.

Other highlights include a 99-night world cruise on Arcadia and Aurora’s 65-night circumnavi­gation of South America.

Registrati­on for winter 2022/23 is now open, with voyages on Arvia on sale from April 21 and the rest of the fleet from April 28.
