“I went to a wild party in Hollywood,” she tells me. “Hailey Bieber, Katy Perry… everyone was so drunk and wild. People were getting with each other, tongues down each other’s throats.
“I have a photo with Katy Perry. I said, ‘OMG Katy, I’m from Geordie Shore, it’s a reality TV show’, and she said: ‘OMG I’ve heard of Geordie Shore, I love it!’”
The Newcastle-based show recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Holly Hagan, one of its stars, says Geordie Shore “was pretty iconic” and adds: “You look at Love Island and think, ‘God, we make them look like they should be on Cbeebies!”
Season 4 of spin-off series Geordie OGS premieres on MTV on July 13 at 10pm.

Things got even more rock and roll as Liam’s pal Serge Pizzorno – guitarist with Kasabian – hired the villa next door. The Moult – which charges €17k for a week’s stay – even makes its own gin for guests, which I’m sure went down well. During last week’s jaunt, Liam celebrated son Gene’s 20th birthday and Gene posted a snap online showing Liam sporting a bucket hat in the background. Private chefs cooked up themed meals every day – including a Nobu-themed dinner for Gene’s birthday. The family even ended up kayaking, having sing-songs round the grand piano and playing Articulate. Since returning home, Liam says: “It was nice to spend time with the family and show the young guns how to drink. I’ve just been on the p*** for a week.” He jokes that the holiday highlight was “getting sh*t 24/7 off me mam”. Molly was joined on the trip by her Liverpool FC boyfriend Nat Phillips, who Man City fan Liam bonded with, despite him playing for a rival club. Liam’s brother Paul was in fine form and has taken up Zumba to get fit for his upcoming tour dates, where he will DJ before Liam takes to the stage. Now the crew have returned to North London and Liam’s getting stuck into making solo album number three.
