Mixed blessings for Vogue’s kids

Tots baptised in different religions...and she didn’t know

- BY SHANE POWER

VOGUE Williams has revealed two of her children are Protestant and one is Catholic.

The podcaster confessed her brood’s different religions during a discussion on identity on RTE’S Late Late Show on Friday night.

Dublin influencer Vogue, 37, joined actor James Nesbitt, athlete Ciara Mageean and presenter Baz Ashmawy as guests with host Paddy Kielty on the chat show.

As the discussion turned to identity, Mageean and Nesbitt spoke about being from Northern Ireland and religion.

Vogue, who is married to Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, chimed in with a revelation about her kids Theodore, five, Gigi, three and one-year-old Otto.

She said: “Two of my kids are Protestant and one is Catholic, which I actually didn’t know.

“My mother-in-law, she organised the first two christenings and I organised the last one. So, we’ve got a very mixed household.

CHURCH

“I only found out when we were in the church for the last one and the priest held the baby up and said ‘Welcome to the Catholic church’.

“Spenny [her husband] looked at me, like, ‘What?’”

Meanwhile, Spencer has admitted he’s nervous about what intimate details Vogue might reveal about their marriage on their upcoming podcast tour. The Spencer & Vogue live tour will hit Cork, Belfast and Dublin in March 2024.

He said: “The things that Vogue is looking to put in the show are absolutely ghastly and the thought of sharing them with an audience has me on edge to say the least… “I can’t imagine you won’t find it funny.” The couple shared their life on E4 shows Spencer, Vogue and Baby Too and Spencer, Vogue and Wedding Two before turning to podcasts.
