FORMER MISS

- EXCLUSIVE BY SIOBHAN O’CONNOR

DIE-HARD Liverpool fan Rosanna Davison has revealed there’s “fierce” football rivalry at home as hubby Wes Quirke is a staunch Man United supporter.

Lady in Red Rosanna, 39, told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “The whole family has been obsessed with Liverpool.

“My dad has always been a Liverpool supporter. My brother actually works for Liverpool FC.

“Wes is a hardcore Man United fan so it causes plenty of disagreements in the house.”

The former Miss World presented slots for LFC TV in 2013 and remarked that it’s hard to top Steven Gerrard as a world class player.

She said: “My favourite player of all time has to be Steven Gerrard.

“He’s just a Liverpool legend, I’ve loved following him over the years.

“Currently I love watching Mo Salah play, he’s got children and seems like a lovely dad.”

Rosanna and Wes are parents to twoyear-old twins Hugo and Oscar, and daughter Sophia who turned four this week.

ATTENTION

She admitted romance is on the long finger save for going to rugby matches together or after the school run.

Rosanna said: “In more recent years we’ve gone to a lot of the rugby matches together, he loves going to them with me.

“He doesn’t pay any attention to my opinion on football though because he thinks he knows it all.

“The only time we can actually catch up with each other is when I’ve dropped the kids to school and I’m in the car and he’s on his way to work.

“We’ll ring each other, that’s when we can have a catch up and be like, ‘Oh, you know, the bins need changing’. You know, all the romantic stuff.”

The pair were trying for a family for many years with Rosanna suffering multiple miscarriages before opting for international surrogacy.

They welcomed Sophia in 2019 and since then Rosanna has been close to her Ukrainian gestational surrogate Anastasiia Berezan.

Rosanna was instrumental in her family relocating to Ireland in April 2022 to escape the war in Ukraine.

She said: “She sent me a beautiful message yesterday on Sophia’s birthday.

“We had a little exchange. I was just saying to her, you know, ‘thank you for giving this gift to us’. I can’t believe it’s been four years because it’s just so clear in my head.

“She gave us this gift of life by giving birth to Sophia and we’ve sort of given them a gift by bringing them to our Island.

“It just worked out really nicely that we could repay her in some way.”
