LOUIS GROWS CLOSE TO OLD FLAME AGAIN
Singer’s love life goes in One Direction
EXCLUSIVE LOUIS Tomlinson has grown close to his on-off love Eleanor Calder once more, a year after they split for a second time.
Sources say the pair – who have dated for nine of the last 12 years – did not begin speaking again until the dust had settled on Louis’ fling with Sofie Nyvang.
One Direction star Louis, 32, started dating Danish model Sofie, 23, last February, but they parted after just two months.
The source said: “Louis and Eleanor have a long history together, and those ties run really deep for them both.
“They didn’t talk for a long time after their split, and with Louis dating Sofie… but now they’ve been speaking again.
“Whatever happens, they always seem to be drawn back towards each other.”
Louis and Eleanor, 31, were introduced by his former bandmate,
Harry Styles. They first went public with their relationship at Niall Horan’s 18th birthday bash in September 2011 – before One Direction had their first hit.
But they split in March 2015 as the band’s touring took its toll.
During their time apart, Louis fathered son Freddie after a fling with stylist Briana Jungwirth.
But he got back together with Eleanor in January 2017 – a month after the death of his mum Johannah Deakin, 43.
Later that year Louis released his second solo track, Back to You, which fans believe hinted at his turbulent relationship with Eleanor.
But when asked about engagement rumours in 2020, Louis said: “It isn’t true. But the luxury with Eleanor is I’ve known her since before our first single. She’s felt the growth of everything.”
A spokesman for Louis last night declined to comment.
