Strictly a fresh start for Karen

Pro dancer finds love again after end of marriage

-

Strictly’s Karen Hauer is dating a new man after splitting from her husband Jordan Wyn-jones.

We can reveal the professional dancer recently enjoyed a romantic Lake District break with ex-rugby player and personal trainer Simon Davidson.

The super-fit pair are said to have hit it off after being introduced by fellow Strictly pro Gorka Marquez and his fiancee, Gemma Atkinson.

Last month Karen and Simon, then just pals, were pictured leaving the Strictly Come Dancing final in the same car – but sources say they are now an item.

One source revealed: “Karen and Simon have lots in common, so when Gemma and Gorka introduced them, they hit it off immediately.

“Karen was keen to take things slowly and they were friends for a while at first. But gradually things became romantic, and though they have tried to keep their relationship quiet, they are now a proper couple.

“Karen’s friends and family are thrilled because 2023 was an incredibly hard year for her. All they want is to see her happy.”

This newspaper revealed last year that Karen and businessman Jordan had split after just 16 months of marriage.

It came after she appeared at the Pride of Britain Awards without her wedding ring.

Karen hinted that the separation had been traumatic in a cryptic message on Instagram this New Year – posted alongside an image of herself enjoying a country walk.

The pro dancer wrote: “2024 Moving forward… I thought the trauma had broken me, but really it gave my life direction.

“The toxicity made me embrace communication and honesty.

“The manipulation made me realign with my own power. The narcissism showed me that selflessness is needed.

“The chaos taught me to build boundaries. The hurt showed me that healing and rebirth are possible.” Good for her.
