Crewe 1 Crawley 0

-

LEE BELL has told his Crewe players not to lose focus ahead of their showdown with Stockport.

Crewe climbed to third thanks to Rio Adebisi’s winner against Crawley, but Bell wants celebrations kept to a minimum. He said: “We will let the players enjoy that, but they have got to stay focused as we have a tough game on Tuesday.

“We’ve got to take what we did here into that.”

Forest Green 0 Mansfield 4

NIGEL CLOUGH felt Mansfield’s substitutes had been key after his side produced a clinical display.

An Ollie Clarke brace and goals from Tom Nichols and Will Swan gave the Stags victory. Clough said: “While we’ve had some strong benches at times, that’s the strongest we’ve had and they had an impact.”

Steve Cotterill said: “There’s plenty to work on, but when you look at us, we’re a better team but the results aren’t showing it.”

Harrogate 1 Colchester 0

SIMON WEAVER believes his team are “playing for the badge” after moving into the play-offs.

Jack Muldoon struck a 92nd-minute winner – his fourth goal in as many games. “We have a team that digs in for the badge,” said Weaver.

Danny Cowley added: “When you have dominance you have to be clinical and we weren’t. (Harrogate) are resilient and that is what we need.”

Milton Keynes 2 Accrington 1

JOHN COLEMAN is ‘getting sick of football’ after seeing Accrington lose in dramatic circumstances.

Jack Payne cancelled out Jack Nolan’s opener for Stanley, before Joe Tomlinson was the Dons, hero in stoppage time.

But Coleman said: “I’ve never seen a worse ref in my life. I’m getting sick of football, I really am.”

MK Dons manager Mike Williamson hailed ‘street footballer’ Payne, saying “he is a joy to work with.”

Swindon 1 Salford 1

GAVIN GUNNING heaped praise on Salford keeper Alex Cairns after his Swindon side were held.

Cairns had made a number of superb saves by the time George Mceachran scored, but Salford’s Callum Hendry equalised late on.

Gunning said: “If their keeper has a game like that, there’s nothing you can do. He had one of the best games I’ve seen from a goalie in a long time.”

Wrexham 0 Bradford 1

GRAHAM ALEXANDER hopes Bradford’s win “will give the players and supporters the belief that there’s still something there worth fighting for” this season. Andy Cook scored a late winner shortly after his penalty had been saved by Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo.

“We are where we are. There was a freshness about us,” Alexander added.

Phil Parkinson said: “We just couldn’t find the moment to unlock the door. We deserved to win.”
