The nation was captivated in February 2009 when Jack tied the knot with Jade exactly four weeks before her death from cervical cancer, aged 27.

Now electrician Jack, 36, has spoken candidly about moving on with partner Ellis Sargeant, who he has dated for more than two years after they met through mutual friends in Essex.

He said: “This is love again. I never thought I would find it.

“But 15 years on from Jade passing away, I feel like I’ve found love once more. I’ve taken my time – I couldn’t rush.”

Jack became a reality star himself when he landed a spot on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 alongside partner Jade.

After her death when he was just 21, he hit a downward spiral – turning to booze and suffering from depression.

He said: “I will always love Jade. That will never change. She was my first love. We shared so many happy memories and heartbreaking ones as well – especially towards the last few months.

“But I know she’d want me to be happy, she told me that. I finally feel able to move on. It was about finding the right time.”

Jack said Ellis, 29, a personal assistant, knew it would be hard being in a relationship with someone who was once one of the most photographed men in the country – catapulted into the spotlight in his three years with

Jade. Now, life is more modest. He said: “Ellis knew what it would be like being in a relationship with me and she’s just amazing.

“Marriage is absolutely something I’m thinking about. It just hadn’t felt right since Jade died.

“It was such a public marriage and had so much heartbreak. Time has healed a lot.” Image rights to his wedding with Jade were sold to provide money for her children, Eastenders actor Bobby Brazier, 20, and Freddie, 19.

Ready to embrace fatherhood himself, Jack said: “Children would be amazing, it’s something me and Ellis are thinking about. It’s been a privilege to be a stepdad to Bobby and Freddie. I’m so proud seeing them in the limelight – they’re natural at it. They remind me so much of Jade.”

Jade’s death led to a huge surge women being tested for cervical cancer. She was diagnosed in 2008 after missing an appointment to get abnormal cells removed and the disease then spread to her bowel, liver and groin.

Jack added: “I keep urging women to get screened. That was a huge part of her legacy.”
