Duncannon B team played a friendly match at home to St Leonards on Wednesday night, August 17, in preparation for the start of the new season, which will begin next Sunday, August 28. This was a very good workout for the local boys, who ran out 4-2 winners on the night.
PADRE PIO PILGRAMAGE

The Ring of Hook No Name Club will hold its AGM on Friday, August 26, at 8 p.m. at the Old Hall in Ramsgrange. New members are very welcome to attend.
WAVES MUSIC FESTIVAL IN FETHARD
Fethard Lifeboat Station would like to remind everybody that the Waves Music Festival is taking place on Sunday, August 28. This will be a very popular event so please don’t wait to get your tickets. This is a major fundraising event for the RNLI with all funds raised going towards the replacement of our local boat. All donations will be gratefully received and apologies in advance for traffic disruption.
STUDY GROUP RETURNS IN SEPTEMB ER
The Campile Study Group will continue in September in Campile Hall for third, fifth, and sixth year students This will be supervised by parents on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.each night. Starting on September 5 the cost will be €20 per month.and must be paid on the first Monday of each month.
