Wednesday will be cold with widespread sharp to severe frost slowly clearing. Staying dry with crisp sunshine in many parts, though there is the risk of a wintry shower or two. On Thursday and Friday, most of the country should stay dry with sunny spells in light to moderate northeast breezes, though it will be breezy on occasion along Irish Sea coasts. Current indications suggest it will remain rather cold this weekend, with the increasing threat of scattered showers developing through Sunday.
