Kilkenny Library Service is introducin­g a new computer system that will link all Irish Public Libraries. This will have many benefits for Library Members. You will have access to a much wider range of books and other items such as music, film and audio. All members can borrow a maximum of 12 items for three weeks; You can return your items and use your library card in any participat­ing library service in Ireland. We can send you a reminder by email or text to let you know that your items are due back, that items you requested are ready for collection, and to let you know about library events. You can reserve and renew books and other items 24/7 using our online service.

Cllr Peter ‘ Chap’ Cleere has confirmed that applicatio­n forms are currently available for the festival and Events Grant Scheme 2017 which is operated by Kilkenny County Council. The grant scheme aims to promote and support local festivals and events that have a tourism, cultural/artistic or community perspectiv­e.
