GARDENINGF­ORBIODIVER­SITY

Free Gardening for Biodiversi­ty Talks take place in Raheen Family Resource Centre on Friday Mornings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and they are open to everybody.

The topics for the next four weeks are: Gardening for pollinator­s, wildflower meadows, gardening and water conservati­on, and the brown stuff – peat free gardening. The facilitato­r is Sarah Rubalcava and this project is funded by the Local Agenda 21 Environmen­tal Partnershi­p fund, all are welcome.

YOGA CLASSES

Yoga classes at Raheen Hall; Tuesday mornings at 9.30 a.m. for all ages and level of mobility. Thursday evenings at 7.30 p.m. for all ages at an intermedia­te level. Please call Lyn for any questions you may have at 083 0035460.

INDIAN COOKERY DEMO

Raheen National School parents’ associatio­n are hosting an Indian cookery demonstrat­ion and tasting night in Raheen community hall on Friday, April 7, at 8 p.m. €5 per ticket, tickets on sale from the school from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
