GAA CLUB NEWS

At the Medal presentati­on in the Ferrycarri­g Hotel on Friday, March 17, the following awards were presented. Hurler Player of the year – Pat Nolan; Footballer of the year – Barry O’Gorman; under-21 footballer – Ian Carty; under-21 hurler – Pierce Doyle; junior B hurler – Stephen o Keeffe; junior b footballer – TJ Codd; club person of the year – Denis Nolan.

A huge congratula­tions to Mark Doyle and Conor Murphy who were crowned U14 All Ireland champions in handball in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, on Sunday. Well done boys on this great achievemen­t.

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE

Day coffee morning – Wednesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. Please come along and support our Daffodil Day coffee morning in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in the Family Resource Centre Joseph Street. A big thanks to the Wednesday Ladies group for organising.
