SPRING CLEAN DAY

The Tidy Towns’ annual Spring Clean day will be Saturday, April 22, meeting at Community Centre at 10 a.m. to clean up litter from roads around our village. Equipment provided. Helpers are very welcome. We are also asking homeowners to clean up the stretch of road 20 or 30 metres on both sides of your property as it makes our litter pickers task a lot easier.

To help in our efforts to keep improving our marks in the Tidy Towns competition, Clonroche businesses and residents should ensure their premises are well presented i.e. washed clean and painted if required. Boundary walls in housing estates washed clean and of course the whole village, approach roads and housing estates litter and weed free too. Community volunteer involvement is essential in this regard and is very much appreciated.
