LOTTO This week’s lotto jackpot stands at €20,000, and the reserve jackpot at €20,000. The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 7 and 11, and there was no winner. Consolatio­n winners of €60 each were Stas Kavanagh, Rose Murphy, Angela Fenlon, Frances Sheehy, Stephen Mullet. Tickets are on sale in local business, and from committee members.

LIBRARY NOTES

News Easter Closure: The library will close for Easter on Friday, April 14, and will reopen on Tuesday, April 18. We would like to wish all our borrowers a happy and safe Easter. A Representa­tive from Cois Nore will be giving a free talk in the library on Thursday, April 27, at 11 a.m. all welcome.

Spring into Storytime: in the library Thursday, April 20, for ages six and under at 11.30 a.m. Spring Clean Packs: We now have a Spring Clean pack available on loan from the library. Locals can borrow pickers, hi-vis vests etc. Call into the library for more details.

New printing service: Graiguenam­anagh library users can now print remotely from their mobile phones, tablets, laptops etc. You can now send emails, boarding passes and other documents from home and collect your prints at the library. COFFEE EVENING

There will be a Coffee Evening in Newtown Hall on Tuesday, April 18, at 8 p.m. in aid of refurbishm­ent of the hall. Your support is greatly appreciate­d.

DAFFODIL DAY

Daffodil Day was a great success, The total amount raised was €1,350.
