DIABETIC FUN RUN/WALK

The annual Diabetic Fun Run/ Walk 5k or 10k takes place on Monday, May 1, starting from the Tintern Complex, Ballycullane at 11 a.m. Registration starts at 9.45 a.m. till 10.45 a.m. Cost is adult – €10, children under-16 – €5, also T shirts available for €10 on the day. All proceeds to children with Diabetes, Wexford General Hospital. Hope to see you all there.

CARDS

Joint winners fo the cards in St Leonards hall on Saturday night last were; John Joe Murphy, Sonny Cahill, Jimmy Cullen and Alice Gaffney, Billy Shannon and Pat Murray. Joint third were; Kitty Roche, Joan Kehoe, Margaret Cullen and Charlie Collins, Joan Fardy and Maureen Eustace. Kathleen Cadogan, Willie White and Luke Power. Winners of the last game draw were; Nick Doyle, Johnny Flynn and Mick O’Hanlon.

The raffle winners on the night were; Jimmy Cullen, Larry Larkin, David Murphy and Dave Walsh. The cards continue every Saturday night at 8.30 p.m. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

LOTTO

There was no jackpot winner in the Tintern lotto draw last week. Carmel Redmond, Ballycullane and Eamon Whitty, Yoletown matched three numbers and each received €100. The numbers drawn were 9, 14, 25 and 26. Next week’s jackpot is €17,600. and next week’s match-three winners share €200. Tickets on sale in all local shops and from committee members.
